Hi!
I have been working on Troy Stetinas Speed Mechanics to improve my alternate picking. I think it is a very good and useful book. I wonder if anybody can recommend anything similar about sweep picking? thule |

I know that many Shredders swear by "Rock Discipline" by John Petrucci. Also, Rusty Cooley gets mentioned a bunch.

I checked some Gambale technique many years ago. It's really cool but went against the alternate picking approach I'm so comfortable with. If you are picking say 3 notes on a string, when you go to the next string you start with a down. So you end up with down up down down up down. It's sweeping on the smallest level. It works for Gambale.
