Default phase 90 mod fail??

ok, so i tried the r28 mod on my 2009 phase 90 (red circuit board), so i desoldered the resistor and now the pedal wont work...it works fine when its in the off position, but when i click it on the only thing that happens is that the battery gets very hot (suggestion a short) but i cant figure it out...any help would be great...thanks

Hey, can you snap us a pic of your work?

Is the 24k resistor now in series with the pcboard?

If the battery is getting hot, sounds like there may be a solder bridge (short across the power line) or a component on the board got stomped in the process and now is a direct short to ground.

What is the r28 mod?

You have a short on the power rail for sure if the battery is getting hot.
