Hey everybody, new to the forum. I have some old MXR pedals, a Micro Chorus and Micro Flanger, that I both bought used in the 80s. The foam inside rotted to a crumbly mess which I have removed. Also some wires broke where they joined to the circuit boards. I can resolder the wires, but what can I use for insulation to replace the old rotted foam? Thanks!

Just cut some average foam and put it in there.
It was only in place to keep the electronics safe and away from any objects. Good luck!

Hey... you're welcome. It wasn't much!
Let me add tho' that the foam shouldn't be oversized and jammed in there. Cut a piece that's going to sit nicely in the space, creating a little pressure, but not too much.
