Default Lyrics...

I like 'em!
As much as I love me some good music/musicianship...I like a song...who are some of your favorite lyrisists? I was discussing this with our singer the other day and he was surprised at some of my answers ( espcially since I do most of the writing...)
Lyle Lovett
Lucinda Williams
Son House ( momento mori)
Willie Dixon( the "character" songs he did for Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters)
Chuck Berry
Trent Reznor ( cuz who hasn't wanted to f someone like an animal?)
Tom Waits
thoughts....?
( no rights or wrongs...please)

John Prine. Warren Zevon. Butch Han****. Loudon Wainwright III. Richard Thompson. Guy Clark. +1 on Tom Waits--a freaking genius. Dylan, of course. Springsteen. Lots and lots of others...

On edit: Why can you say fuck but not the other word for rooster? The auto-censor makes no sense at all...

I like:

Steve Kilbey
Lou Reed
David Lowery
Frank Black
John Lennon
and Dylan (of course)

There's more, but that's just some quick faves o' mine.
