I've got major G.A.S. going on for one of these babies.
My question is: What are the main differences between the older Voodoo-Vibe and the newer Voodoo-Vibe+? Anyone know? Carl? ![]() I may hold out and try to pick up a used one as they are pretty pricey new. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Don't know. I've got one of the old ones, seen here on my old pedalboard. Great sounding vib.

I have one of the older ones also. The new one has a mode called 'pulse wave'.

The older ones only have a buffered output, while the + has both buffered and true bypass. Otherwise they are the exact same afaik. There is a simple mod that can be done to the older ones to bypass the buffer.

The VV also has a very useable tremelo. I think you need to be a tweaker to appreciate it. The pots on mine were very loose-turning and a few millimeters makes a huge difference in tone on the vibe settings on some of the controls. The symmetry control is quite nice (shapes the wave form) and something not seen on a lot of vibes.
