Does anyone have an idea as to what the Eagles used on this track, especially on the solo? I think I heard they used cranked Fender Champs a lot. Kinda sounds like that to me with maybe a Fuzz Face? Anyway, love that sound for solos...
thanks

I too think that there might 'might' be some fuzz tone on this track. Although, in a good recording environment i.e., good mic pres, comps, tape saturation, etc. - a particularly good Champ can get those tones. It's on the lower string licks that I think it's a fuzz(?).
