What is your Music Genre?

I guess they're calling it "Americana," now that "alt-country" and "neo-folk" and "classic rock" have all sort of collided into one big mess.

Me, I'm old enough to remember when we called this style "Neil Young."

I call it Jazz-Rock right now, with still a bit of singer-songwriter and more and more Drum 'n Bass/Dubstep in there

I'm in a John Cage-phase right now,
so it's hard for me to say out loud what the music's like.

Cubba I`ve come to realize that music is strongly attach to our own temporary emotional state.
We tend to collect emotional memories from many life-time periods that we experience along with music listening.

For example there is one song by Rob Zombie that automaticly transporst my mind into a great strip-bar and a cool lap-dance-babe... ah too much information. I do not like any other song by said artist.(More lap-dances could change my mind)

Ahhhh Rolo, the John Cage bit is an ironic joke, doesn't translate as well into Spanish.
Cage's "music" featured a lot of silence, hence my post was actually sarcastic.
