Sure. With just a little bit invested, the '51 can become a nice player. The blonde I have since sold because the black one was getting all of the playing time. Sounded and played great though.

I got my black '51 in yesterday and it's near mint. There's just something about a factory finish in black. Anyway, the neck feels bad, so I'll be selling that and it's pretty much all getting gutted: new bridge, electronics, pickups, neck, tuners -even the pickguard. Why? Because I can. How good it turns out is anybody's guess but at least the body doesn't SOUND like styrofoam.
