Default "I sold my Dumbles...all of them"

Joe Bonamassa gets slagged on in some corners, but that dude is astute when it comes to tone and gear. He's playing through a 2 X Tweed High Power Twin and 2 X Tweed Bassman backline now and sold his Dumbles. I nicked this from another forum but it's an interesting interview where he discusses the styles and tone of classic British rockers. Worthwhile IMHO.

To be fair though, I never really got into Bonamassa. He can play, he knows his stuff.. But it's just not anything new. Misses some inherent cool factor imo.

What is cool is that it shows how one's taste can change over years... even with access to higher priced gear... a small amp like a Champ can still do the job. I also agree with the fiddling with the knobs part on a good Les Paul... which I do constantly myself.
